About us
Jonathan Finch has over 32 years in the Firework and event industry. Having run his own successful firework business he now provides consultancy services across the Firework industry. With a very wide skill and knowledge base Jonathan is able to offer solutions and advice on all aspects of the Firework and Explosive industry. Jonathan has been employed by both Summer and Winter Olympic Games, two Commonwealth Games and a host of other large scale international events.
Jonathan is a qualified Dangerous Goods Advisor, holds a NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety Management and an Event Safety Diploma from University of Derby.
Clients include; Major UK Underwriters, Solicitors (Expert Witness), Production Companies, Firework Companies, Event Companies and Firework Manufacturers.
DGSA Services
Jonathan provides DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor) services to over 30 UK companies. It is a legal requirement for companies that transport hazardous goods to appoint a DGSA, who can be either an employee or an external consultant. Jonathan makes sure that companies are kept abreast of the law and fulfill all their legal obligations.
HSE Licensing and Classification
Having worked on a large number of HSE Licences, both with brand new applications and amendments, Jonathan can advise and guide you through the process. He can also offer ADR classification for all explosive items, through a number of different contracting parties. If you need help with CE or UKCA marking contact us as we can also offer this service.
Firework Event Production
Having worked on some of the largest ceremonies and events in the world, Jonathan is able to combine his safety and firework knowledge to provide safety and production management. He has worked on two summer Olympics, Winter Olympics, Commonwealth Games and many others. A unique combination of safety and understanding of the working practices of these events, allows the successful and safe delivery of spectacular shows.
